As part of Dubai Shopping Festival celebrations, the convenience food at Al Islami kiosks is adding to the festivities of Global Village visitors with scrumptious and nutritious halal food that would remain on display till the official closing of Global Village for 2008, 1st of March. Saleh Abdullah Lootah, the Chief Executive Officer of Al Islami Foods commented: "In our drive to encourage the use of innovative business concepts, such as this Al Islami Cart franchise model, we are determined to instill self-reliance among the younger community. The selected young Emirati entrepreneurs that qualify the Establishment's criteria are forwarded to the Al Islami Foods as candidates for franchising.
