It will also , as it grows in the coming years, provide a consolidated platform for the Asia Pacific Franchise Confederation's (APFC) association-members and the possibly even the franchisors from other parts of the world to target specifically at franchisees they wish to recruit as business partners/franchisees in this bustling region.

Needless to say, listings of franchise companies member (voting members) in the various franchise associations in Asia will be included so that readers can make full use of this powerful research tool.

The inaugural Asia Pacific Franchise Directory was mooted during the Asia Pacific Franchise Confederation (APFC) meeting held in Auckland, New Zealand in June 2005. As endorsement, it has 18 congratulations letters from the Presidents/Chairpersons of 16 national franchise associations from the Asia Pacific region, 1 from APFC and 1 from the European Franchise Federation (EFF). As far as international franchisors are concerned, more than 60 franchisors from all over Asia and the USA have confirmed their advertisements.
