Australia's largest locally owned helicopter company has appointed a new CEO to lead it into its next phase of national expansion, following a year which saw the Brisbane-based business secure over $250 million in new contracts. Australian Helicopters' Chairman Don McLay today announced the appointment of RegionalLink CEO and former REX chief operating officer Neil Shea after an extensive executive search. He will take up his position on March 1. "Neil's experience in developing and implementing RegionalLink's regional airline franchise network for the general aviation industry and his work at REX, merging Kendall and Hazelton Airlines into one dynamic organisation proves he has the capabilities that Australian Helicopters needs at this time," McLay says.
