Burger King Corporation opened its first franchised restaurant in Asia in 1982.
Our customers can now be served at more than 200 BURGER KING® restaurants located in Asia.
Aside from the traditional core menu items, BURGER KING® restaurants in Asia also feature regional menu items, reflecting some of the local dishes and preferences. Some examples include:
Local menu items in Korea include the Bulgogi Burger, which features a pork patty cooked in traditional Korean style, barbequed in a garlic flavor sauce; and Patbingsoo, an authentic Korean dessert of finely crushed ice topped with sweet red beans, cream, soft serve ice cream, fruit cocktail, strawberries and condensed milk.
In Taiwan, customers enjoy the Spicy Chicken Drumstick Sandwich, reflecting customary tastes for spicy food and dark meat.
In Thailand, seasonal fried turnover dessert items are featured, including the favorite, Green Tea Pie; as well as a Spicy Pork Burger.
The Rendang Double was the first local flavor burger introduced in the Singapore area and reflects the locals affection for spicy food.
