Richard F. Whitaker, former Coverall Cleaning Concepts executive and successful Coverall Master franchisor, joins Coverall Mountain & Pacific’s Senior Leadership Team as Director of Franchise Operations on January 2, 2008. Whitaker will be responsible for overseeing the Regional Directors in each of Coverall Mountain & Pacific’s four regional offices—Carpinteria, Fresno, Los Angeles and San Francisco. He will also be responsible for launching regional offices in Salt Lake City, UT; Boise, ID; Albuquerque, NM and Reno, NV. Whitaker’s primary focus will be to train and support franchise owners to bring a higher level of service to Coverall Mountain & Pacific’s customers.

“I’m excited to have Richard join our management team,” said Mark Melton, President of Coverall Mountain & Pacific. “He has a track record of success in the commercial cleaning business that will enhance our growth. With Richard’s help, we can propel our company to a higher level of excellence.”

Coverall Mountain & Pacific is a Santa Barbara County based company. Melton is a 10-year Coverall Cleaning Concepts Master Franchise operator.

Whitaker has over twenty years experience in the franchise commercial cleaning business. He began his career as a Coverall Cleaning Concepts franchise owner. Whitaker quickly became a Master Franchisee for Coverall first in Southern Ohio, Cincinnati/Dayton and later in Las Vegas. He sold his Master Franchise in Las Vegas to Coverall North America and was hired to join their staff. He held several positions within Coverall North America; Divisional Director for West Coast Operations and the Vice-President of Operations and National Accounts. He left Coverall North America in 2002. Immediately prior to joining Coverall Mountain & Pacific, Whitaker was General Manager for a rival commercial cleaning franchise company.

“I’m grateful to Mark for the opportunity to help him grow his business,” said Whitaker. “Coverall Mountain & Pacific is a exciting, dynamic company. It’s possible to double, or even triple, the size of the company in the upcoming years. Opening the new markets will be a key to successful growth. I’m thrilled to lend my experience to help the business move towards its potential.”
