| Home Helpers Names New President < United States > June 10th, 2008 Chief Operating Officer Emma Dickison assumes head position, effective June 9.
Cincinnati (June 9, 2008) – Home Helpers, the #1 Senior Care franchise in North America, has named current Chief Operating Officer Emma Dickison president, effective Monday, June 9. Dickison came to Home Helpers in October 2007 with nearly 20 years of experience in franchise management in the education and entertainment industries, managing services and support for more than 1,000 franchisees across the country. “Emma’s extensive experience in franchise management lends itself well to our vision for Home Helpers and its continued growth,” said Gary Green, CEO of Home Helpers and several other franchises. Former president of Home Helpers, John F. Buckles will move to the lead position for another brand, Caring Transitions, which provides Senior moving, downsizing and estate sales services. In 2008, Home Helpers was named #1 Senior Care Franchise and “Best of the Best” by Entrepreneur magazine. In addition, Home Helpers also earned a spot in the top 20 percent of Franchise 500®, Entrepreneur’s ranking of America’s overall best franchises – the third consecutive year Home Helpers has garnered this distinctive honor.
