Senior care company has a new president, international growth and its highest ranking yet in the Entrepreneur 500

Denver, Colorado, April 11, 2006 - Homewatch CareGivers is shaping up to have a big year in 2006. With just a few weeks into the new year under their belt, the company has announced that Leann Reynolds will be taking over as president and the company is expanding into Japan, with a recent deal that has the franchisor poised for significant growth in the coming year.
"2005 was a great year for us. We broke our milestone of 100 franchise units and we continue to expand internationally. Our Japan deal will allow us to bring our business and our mission to a new and exciting level," said Paul Sauer, the founder and CEO of Homewatch International.
Sauer will continue to lead the company as its CEO, but Reynolds, who has been a part of the Homewatch International management team since 2001, will take on a greater role as president, managing the day-to-day operations. Reynolds also owns the Homewatch CareGivers of Greater Portland Area in Portland, Oregon.
"Leann has been instrumental in growing and developing new franchise locations for our company. Her dedication to our mission of bringing compassionate care to the families who use our services has proven to be a great strength for the entire Homewatch family," Sauer said.
Sauer will focus on the strategic growth of the business in 2006. Over 20 new franchises will be coming on board in the first half of the year.
Prior to joining Homewatch, Reynolds was the area services manager for Hewlett Packard and a manager of international support for Atlas Telecom. She has a Bachelor's of Science degree in business and international relations from the University of Colorado.
Homewatch CareGivers also showed an impressive jump in its ranking in Entrepreneur magazine's Franchise 500 list moving from 340 to
279 - the company's highest ranking to date.
"These are exciting times for our company. While we will continue to develop excellent programs and training curriculum for our franchisees, we are very pleased about our outlook for 2006," Sauer said.
