DENVER – Homewatch International, offering Homewatch CareGivers business opportunities, has announced the opening of its first Ireland office, providing independence and peace-of-mind through professional home care services.

The company’s first office in Blackrock will serve Dublin South and West as well as the North Wicklow area. A further office will be added within the next year. The company provides an Advanced Continuum of Care, including comprehensive personal care, companionship and homemaking, with flexible home care scheduling and 24-hour service.

Homewatch CareGivers serving Ireland is led by Chief Executive Brian Mahony, formerly International Business Director of ATM service provider Hanco International. Brian believes the home care market is set to grow significantly in Ireland in the years ahead.

“The increase in the over-age-65 population along with greater life expectancy is creating significant demand for quality home care services,” said Brian. “Our own local research reinforces these major trends and indicates a growing awareness of services such as ours.”

Brian also sees a trend toward increasing home care support from the Health Service Executive (HSE) for partners as well as family members with dependent relatives. HSE governs the national health service in Ireland.

“The opening marks our official entry into the Ireland market and gives us the ability to extend our services to the U.K., including England, Scotland and Wales,” said Homewatch International President Leann Reynolds. “We have a very strong management and ownership team in place and are eager to serve the home care needs of families in the area.”

The directors of the company are David W. Duffy (Chairman), Diarmaid Ó Corrbuí and Séan Donnelly. All are experienced investors and directors with extensive experience in the healthcare industry. The company has plans to roll out further Homewatch CareGivers offices to all of the major cities in Ireland over the next three years and to cover all major urban areas within five years.
