| More opening in India < India > February 7th, 2006 Fast food giant McDonald's India is set to expand its outlets in the country. It plans to widen its presence in tier two cities in the North.
"We would be opening more outlets in Allahabad, Kanpur, Varanasi, Shimla and Amritsar," Vikram Bakshi, Managing Director, McDonald's India, said. He was speaking on the sidelines of the CII organised CRM Summit in the Capital. The chain is currently present in Lucknow, Jalandhar and Chandigarh among others. With regard to expansion in the South, Bakshi said, "We would soon be setting up our second outlet in Chennai after Bangalore." |
