National Property Emergency Services Franchise `Soaks Up’ Business, Throws Celebration to Mark Rare Accomplishment.

Tamarac, FL (April 2, 2009) – Flooded with business, Tamarac-based PuroClean – the nation’s fastest growing 24-hour property emergency services franchise – is proof that some are actually flourishing in this current economic dry spell. By holding a local event on April 9 to mark a growth milestone, the company plans to inspire its employees, franchise owners and other businesses with the news that success still is achievable, despite the numerous setbacks in today’s economic climate.

To celebrate the upcoming opening of its 250th franchise, PuroClean has organized a unique way to celebrate the occasion at its home office in Tamarac, in conjunction with the training of its largest class of new franchise owners ever. At the celebration, Tamarac Mayor Beth Flansbaum-Talabisco and Tamarac city commissioners will participate in a hands-on lesson in disaster clean-up. Following a simulated water emergency, Flansbaum-Talabisco will demonstrate the clean-up process by taking a ride on the “Rover”, a Segway-like ride-on tool used to rapidly extract water.

Joining the Mayor and commissioners at the celebration, scheduled for 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 9, 2009, will be members of the Tamarac Chamber of Commerce (ceremonial ribbon cutting); PuroClean President & COO Keith Gerson (presentation on company success); PuroClean’s 250th franchisee Rob Thornton; and the largest training class of new PuroClean franchise owners from across the country. The event will be held at PuroClean’s Corporate Headquarters, 6001 Hiatus Road, Suite 13, in Tamarac.

PuroClean enjoyed a record-setting 2008, opening 76 new franchise locations and grossing more than $68 million in revenues, up from $51 million in 2007. Most impressive were sales gains at existing franchise locations, up an astounding 19 percent from 2007 to 2008. PuroClean executives attribute the lofty franchise growth and revenue gains to the company’s recession-resistant business model. Wanting everyone to know how successful they have been in this down economy, PuroClean has legally trade-marked the tagline, “the REAL Recession Proof Franchise.”

“We are honored to have Tamarac local officials share in the celebration of an important milestone in our franchise evolution,” Gerson said. “To be able to welcome our largest group of new owners during one of the most difficult economic times in our country’s history is a testament to the excellent business model and the quality franchise owners and home office support team we have here at PuroClean.”

PuroClean also has a bright outlook for 2009 with goals to open 100 new franchise locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

“Many say they’re recession-proof, but we have the numbers to back it up,” Gerson said. “People will always need our franchisees’ services to provide emergency mitigation to restore their properties damaged by water, fire smoke mold, and biohazard events. So while other businesses are focused right now on redefining their concept to survive in the economy, PuroClean is conducting business as usual. We continue to focus on not only being the best restoration business in the world, but to also deliver the best customer experience to bring some peace of mind to families during stressful times.”
