Zebra Interactive Press Release
| PEOPLE SKILLS OPEN DOORS FOR NEW BUSINESS OWNER < Australia > January 30th, 2006 Marcelo Perlingeiro of Dee Why is Sydney’s representative of a new era in franchising; one that does not require a dog washed or a coffee made.
Zebra Interactive, a marketing company that cleverly combines marketing and design with technology to offer a unique solution to businesses, has joined Australia’s 850 plus franchise systems to become Australia’s first marketing franchise. As a franchisee of Zebra Interactive, Mr Perlingeiro is using his marketing and business skills to generate his own income following several years working for internet marketing companies. “The structure of Zebra means that I immediately have access to proven marketing solutions that I can offer my clients and an infrastructure behind those tools that can deliver efficient service to my clients.” “With Zebra I am able to start the business from home, with no staff, a small investment and no physical products I have to store in my garage,” says Mr Perlingeiro. “I liked the quality of the work Zebra was producing and the fact that they already had an impressive client list with businesses such as LeMeridien Hotels, Maserati and Anthony Robbins. Through my previous work experience I already understood and believed in the power of email and the internet so I saw a lot of potential in the Zebra concept.” Mr Perlingeiro said his search for a business started with a well-known retail franchise but that the investment was too big and it wasn’t the greatest use of his skills and experience. “With other franchises there is a significant set up cost and turnover gets swallowed up in paying staff and overheads.” “Zebra provides leads for me, and although I have never worked in sales, the training and support they provide, along with my own experience, will help me to build the business.” Zebra Franchise Development Director Dick Aronson says that marketing experience is not a prerequisite for becoming a Zebra eBusiness Consultant. “Business acumen is the most important trait we look for in establishing if Zebra is a suitable business for each individual,” says Mr Aronson. “The marketing solutions are already part of the tools available for franchisees to offer to clients so it’s more important that franchisees are capable of communicating and uncovering opportunities.” “Marcelo will be a great embassador for Zebra as we continue to expand in Sydney and throughout Australia.” |
