Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc. is the largest double drive-thru restaurant chain in the United States. Checkers develops, produces, owns, operates, and franchises quick service “double drive-thru” restaurants under the two brand names “Checkers®” and “Rally’s Hamburgers®”. The restaurants are designed to provide fast and efficient automobile-oriented service and appeal to guests of all ages. The double drive-thru concept allows Checkers® and Rally’s Hamburgers® to capitalize on the fact that approximately fifty percent of all quick-service food business is drive-thru. Guests can also enjoy a 1950’s flashback with walk-up ordering and outdoor dining in the outside picnic area at most locations.

Checkers Drive-In Restaurants was founded in 1986 in Mobile, Alabama, then later moved to Clearwater, and is now headquartered in Tampa, Florida. It went public in 1991 after first growing into a 85-store chain in nine Southeastern states. Rally's was founded in Louisville, Kentucky in 1985. Checkers merged with Rally's in August of 1999, expanding the chain into the Midwest and West. The 99-cent burger offered 19 years ago is still on the menu.

As the ninth largest hamburger chain, Checkers Restaurants are designed around a distinctive 1950's diner and art deco motif. The unique double-side drive-through service also has walk-up window service capabilities, but no interior seating. At most locations patrons can enjoy outdoor dining in a comfortable picnic area.

Today, there are 509 Checkers company-owned and franchised restaurants, as well as approximately 364 Rally's restaurants and franchised Rally's restaurants.

Operational Qualifications:
- Operations experience in the QSR Industry.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and train an organization.
- Experienced in marketing and understands its importance to the industry.
- Director of Operations with multi-unit fast-food management experience and at least a 10% ownership opportunity (equity or vesting in the enterprise).
- Operationally and financially capable of opening and operating multiple locations.

Personal Characteristics:
- Has a realistic perspective on and expectation for growth and return on investment.
- Understands the nature of a franchise system and is willing to work within it.
- Aggressive, passionate yet cooperative.
