CHIP® is simply an acronym for Child Identification Program & also Child I.D. Products. We have developed a trademarked "child friendly" chipmunk named CHIP. CHIP is a father that is both youthful & very cool, that teaches children how to provide right answers and make proper decisions when they are put in challenging situations that can be potentially dangerous. We believe that children respond quickly and will make the right decisions when learning, by using a character like CHIP®. We have developed the tagline: Educate your child - Identify your child - Protect your child.
OUR FOUNDER - Mr. Marc R. Bakerman - President and Founder of CHIP The Child I.D. Program® is recognized internationally as an expert and the foremost authority on creating Child Safety Events for both public and private schools. His creativity and passion for "cutting edge" technology has led to the development of a complete line of child safety products, educational training tools & software that are receiving rave reviews. Over the past 15 years, Mr. Bakerman's record of unequalled commitment, vision and work ethic is what puts CHIP The Child I.D. Program® at the forefront of this most important industry.
Marc and his wife Karen share the daily duties of raising three young boys: they both understand the concerns of child safety in today's fast paced and sometimes dangerous society. Thus, the Bakerman's are beginning to achieve their dream of being able to create an organization that contributes towards the goodwill of society and provides an added measure of security to the children of the world.
WE CARE - CHIP® and its international network of "Program Directors" are active members of your community who genuinely care about the welfare of children. Child I.D. offers child safety products to parents, including parent i.d. cards with all the information included to fill out a missing persons report away from home. The company contracts with preschools and elementary schools to take photos of children and sells the i.d. cards, refrigerator magnets, wristbands and other products to parents. The company was founded by husband and wife team Marc Bakerman and Karen Brown in 1988.


CHIP THE CHILD ID PROGRAM OF AMERICA PROGRAM DETAILS
Now you can join concerned Parents & Schools who have given to their children the extra safety of Up-to-date Identification.
SCHOOL SAFETY - Schools are the "Perfect Vehicle" to support Child Safety Programs. CHIP The Child I.D. Program® is offered to "Any & All" Schools on a Parent Option Basis by our network of "Executive Directors". This means that there is "Zero Cost" to the participating school to offer our services and there are "No Minimum" participation requirements. CHIP Safety Technicians do not need any assistance in administering the program at the school. Up to 100 children are processed per hour using our fully computerized system with little or no interruption to a schools daytime schedule.
School Scheduling is as easy as 1 -2 -3
1. School Administrator or PTA/PTO simply calls a CHIP "Executive Director" and chooses a date for the Program.
2. Your assigned CHIP "Executive Director" will take care of the rest!
3. Our courteous Child Safety Technicians will arrive at your school to Photograph, Fingerprint, Weigh, Measure, and capture the data from all of the children participating. All completed Child Safety Packages are delivered back to the participating school within a couple weeks.

2. Weekly Technical Training Call - 30 minutes iin duration.

They have to be able to have $5,000 in operating capital. We do a background check, so they have to have no criminal background. They really need to be an outgoing person who wants to make a difference in their community and loves children.
