Custom Car Care (CCC) has a proven formula for success which is easily duplicated. There are several key factors that have contributed to CCC’s successful operation in the market place.



Custom Car Care (CCC) is the end result of an idea conceptualised in 1996 by Managing Director, Mr Paul Hughes and his two Co-Directors, Sarah Quinn and Kylie Hughes. This idea was then developed by their Family Company.
The idea became a business venture in early 1997.
After extensive research it became quickly evident that a large void in the fast growing Australian Car and Vehicle Care Industry existed. This need was two fold; the commercial sector required a professional, cost effective, reliable detailing resource to provide relief, overload and regular detailing services and; the private sector required a dependable, customer orientated, quality detailing service that was also affordable. From this realization, CCC developed our unique service offerings that now form a core part of our successful formula as it is the balance between these services that creates a foundation for a well rounded business.
Through the use of our unique systems we have been able to fill that void and produce a range of Services that are not only affordable, they assist in the protection of our environment and they offer a distinct competitive edge over existing Car Care companies.
The sectors of the vehicle detailing market being serviced by the initial Brisbane South Operation encompassed sedans, four wheel drives, utilities, small vans, boats, planes and even “cherry-pickers”. With the advent of one of the company’s employees relocating to Adelaide it was decided to open the South Australian operation in mid 1998. Both operations have been very successful. The initial site was an office at 29 Sydney St, Fairfield, Brisbane, from which a purely mobile operation was based and then due to a need for more space and a workshop environment the business was relocated to 17a Chrome St, Salisbury.
From the day of commencement, the available market was quickly penetrated with a claw back of initial set up costs being achieved over a relatively brief few month’s from inception. Further market penetration has been achieved culminating in the realisation of a well received, professional and strong performing operation which now includes a brand new Head Office at Moorooka which incorporates the Custom Car Care Detailing Training College, 4 Franchised Areas and numerous Company owned outlets.


After many years of working with our Clients we have found that the service range offered by Custom Car Care has appealed right across the broad spectrum of motor vehicle detailing and cleaning requirements within both the Commercial and Private sectors of motor vehicle ownership. Whereas Custom Car Care focuses heavily on the commercial sector, we have found an ever increasing demand from the Private Sector (including business vehicles) to use Custom Car Care to assist with both the day to day maintenance of their motor vehicles and eventually to assist them greatly with improving the resale value of their motor vehicles when the time comes to trade in for whatever reason.
Custom Car Care believes strongly in the old adage espoused by the Motoring Trade Association of "dealing with professionals whom you can trust" and always maintains a professional approach in dealing with both Private and Commercial Clients.


• Professional Product Presentation exhibited by Sign written premises and motor vehicles both of which are especially designed and set up for the delivery of a full range of detailing services, colour printed sales kits, a full range of uniforms for staff and management.
• A comprehensive internal training program that produces a professional, skilled and semi skilled work force to an International Standard.
• A policy of regular communication with Clients that insures an accurate and up-to-date assessment of the service provided to them and also assists in the continuous up-grading and development of new services.
• A face to face marketing focus through regular sales calls to potential customers to promote available services and solicit ways to improve the product range.

• A commitment to total quality that is monitored by comprehensive “Check Lists” and “Sign Off” procedures.
Successful capitalisation of the trend toward ‘out-sourcing’ – as Mr Albert “Chainsaw” Dunlap put it so aptly, “Out-sourcing allows you to be more focused on a few things and not consumed by things that really don’t have very much to do with whether the business succeeds”.
