When I started The Interface Group® back in 1971, it was with the express purpose of assisting small businesses with their cash-flow needs. Those cash-flow needs also translated into their “growth needs”.
Now, more than 30 years later, I find that purpose has not changed. The market has however grown significantly over the years and so the Interface organization is today much larger and more widely spread from a geographical standpoint. The role of Interface franchisees however remains constant; it continues to be the provision of much needed short-term working capital in the small business marketplace.


Founded in 1971, The Interface Financial Group® enjoyed almost immediate success and began offering franchises in 1991 to meet the growing demand for Interface’s unique invoice discounting system. Interface now has over 150 franchised offices throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Our international headquarters are located in Markham, Ontario, and our United States headquarters are located in Irvine, California.


The Interface Financial Group® (Interface) provides specialized financing services for expanding companies. Interface Franchise Owners (Interface Owners) focus on “purchasing receivables” in order to accelerate their client’s cash flow, which in turn, facilitates more rapid growth for Interface clients. Although the primary focus for an Interface franchisee is “purchasing receivables”, there are a number of other alternative streams of income available as well. Here are a few of those items:

There is no single description for Interface franchisees. Similarly, there is not one single background or profession that typifies an Interface franchisee. Many of the Interface franchisees come from very diverse backgrounds.
Some Interface franchisees continue to operate in a business or professional environment in addition to running their Interface franchise. Others have chosen ‘semi-retirement’ and golf as the framework for their franchise setting.
Although our franchise owners have diverse backgrounds, we always look for individuals that have excellent communications skills. Interface franchisees are charged with the task of communicating with professionals such as bankers and accountants on the one hand, and with small business owners-entrepreneurs on the other hand.
