The Kwik Fix system has been developed using international standards as the benchmark. Europe has the strictest environmental protection regulations in the world, and these have served as the standard which Kwik Fix has set locally.

Kwik Fix cares for the environment, and leads the Australian mobile paint and plastic repair industry for its environmentally-friendly work practices. Our franchisees are trained in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements in each state, and also to meet Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and local government authority guidelines.
Our outdoor spray painting techniques are permitted by all authorities because we use special spray painting equipment to minimize any paint escaping into the atmosphere, and use a world-first Australian-developed paint system which is completely isocyanate-free. (Almost all panelbeaters and smash repairers use isocyanate paints, which is why they can only paint in sealed extraction booths). Isocyanates are toxic and harmful to humans, animals and plants.
We also go to great pains to ensure that no vehicle waste contaminants the environment. Our franchisees collect all debris from sanding and surface preparation. By disposing of this waste responsibly, they prevent it from eventually washing into stormwater drains and into our waterways.
Our repair processes use very small quantities of paint (measured in millilitres rather than litres), so there is very little waste after a repair is complete. Any excess paints are disposed of in liquid or solid form in accordance with local government regulations in each franchise territory.
