Increasingly, Long John Silver's is being paired with other Yum! Brands, Inc. restaurants in multibrand locations. The multibrand concept provides consumers additional menu choice in one restaurant. Long John Silver's multibrand partners include A&W All American Food, KFC and Taco Bell.

Training:
Yum! requires that each franchisee complete Management Team Training prior to the opening of their restaurant(s). Single brands require between six to eight weeks training for key restaurant personnel. Multibrand training depends on your level of previous quick-service restaurant (QSR) experience. For seasoned QSR management, the initial Multibrand store training track is 12 weeks. For restaurant managers new to QSR, the initial Multibrand store training track is 18 weeks. All trainees must demonstrate skill proficiency prior to being endorsed “restaurant ready.” A fee may be charged for the training activity, and franchisees are responsible to staff their restaurants and train the restaurant crew.
