The exceptional growth of Minuteman Press Full Service Printing Centers resulted from our ability to fill a void in the print industry for total business graphic needs. As we expand into other countries around the world, we have found that same void exists in such places as the United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia.

After investigating the industry, we opened our first store in Plainview, New York. Concerned about the lack of capabilities in this store, and the limitations of many "Quick Printers," we dedicated ourselves to opening a more versatile and productive full service print center.

The prototype Minuteman Press center opened in Farmingdale, New York, in 1974. We utilized equipment which allowed us to reach further into the quality printing market and establish a unique niche in the printing industry. Full service printing became, and remains, the basis of the Minuteman concept; a virtual one-stop center for all of your printing and graphic needs. Today, there are over 880 Minuteman Press Full Service Printing Centers throughout the world!

Our concepts, along with our capabilities, have enabled our franchise owners to offer the quality and service necessary to generate a tremendous repeat business. We are also proud of the vast network of franchise owners operating their own Minuteman Press Full Service Printing Centers. These men and women come from all walks of life, most of whom have no prior background in the printing and graphics fields. We are not looking to turn our owners into printers. We are looking for individuals who will be alert to the needs of their business community, and who will manage and motivate their employees to promote their business. We will provide the training for you and your employees, and also provide the latest technical and marketing support to assist you through our strategically located regional support offices.

As a Minuteman Press franchisee, you will be able to take advantage of the cost savings on various supplies available through MMP Supply Company. MMP Supply Company distributes supplies exclusively to Minuteman Press franchise owners throughout our international network.

One of the most vital functions we perform for our franchise owners is to provide an exceptional training program. The Minuteman Press training program is a two and a half week program held in our modern training facility at World Headquarters in Farmingdale, New York. The training center is furnished with up-to-date equipment, and is staffed with professional teaching personnel, most of whom have been with Minuteman Press since its beginning years.

The two and a half week training course will provide you with not only the technical knowledge of our business, but also with business knowledge, such as bookkeeping, computerized and manual pricing, as well as management techniques needed to efficiently operate your Minuteman Press business.

We are aware that the majority of Minuteman Press owners come to us from backgrounds not associated with printing. As such, your training does not end after your two and a half weeks at our training facility. We provide "on site" continued training for you, and assist you in interviewing, testing, hiring, and training your personnel to help you get your business started and operational.

Training:
The training program will provide you with a thorough understanding, in concept and in fact, of the proven methods of operating a Minuteman Press Full Service Printing Center. With your full participation in training, you will develop a comfortable knowledge of how to operate your franchise.

Support:
The strength of Minuteman Press rests in the quality of individuals operating as Minuteman Press franchise owners. As such, in order to maintain the continued growth and development of Minuteman Press, we provide on-going support through our strategically located regional support offices. You will be in business "for yourself but not by yourself." We have a sincere commitment to our owners to provide continued assistance to help you maximize your business. Each regional support office is staffed by a company Vice President who has access to technical and marketing support personnel to assist you in the operation of your business.

You will find our support personnel maintain a high level of communication, and offer continuous service to our franchise owners. Minuteman Press also regularly holds regional meetings and conventions to further educate our owners on new trends in the industry.
