Established in late 2001 The first Alfresco Kiosk was launched in Darwin by the company founder Doug Woodward, who wanted a "low stress" profitable - home based business. The concept was simple; quality food in a relaxed "Bar-b-cue" like setting.

Pepi D's built its first mobile kiosk which was tried and tested for over 15 months, then in 2004 because of customer demand Pepi (a.k.a Doug) built a second "production" kiosk based of the learning experiences from the first 15 months of operation. This second kiosk was quickly overwhelmed by the demand for the Tequila taste sensation created in Pepi's kitchen.

A development program was put in place to design and construct a world class mobile alfresco kiosk, that was durable - practical and affordable for a home based business. The results of this development program has produced a business model which others envy. We pride ourselves on the quality of our product and will always strive to be the best with our commitment to excellence.

Then in late 2005 Pepi D's franchised its first Generation 2 kiosk and went into production.

Pepi D's operates in a primary site as our core business providing customers with unique hot dogs espresso coffee and cold drinks. In addition we do events and promotions including;

- Sporting events
- School fetes
- Private parties
- Store Promotions

Our Franchisee's have built a strong reputation for the unique quality of hot dogs and coffee they provide along with a service that is unmatched in our industry.

Training is two weeks (initially) then ongoing training and support. It is conducted at our training center on the Gold Coast Queensland by qualified staff who have run their own kiosk on a day to day basis. After you have completed your initial training, you will receive further field training which is conducted in your territory on a "One on One" ratio
