Founded in 1974 by Dave and Gail Liniger in Denver, Colorado, RE/MAX has known unstoppable growth ever since. The organisation now counts close to 6000 offices in 62 countries and more than 114.000 fulltime, professional agents. RE/MAX arrived in Europe ten years ago and covers all major European countries, including some of the new EU members. RE/MAX operates under two brands, the "traditional" RE/MAX brand with the hot air balloon, and the RE/MAX COMMERCIAL brand and logo. Most offices handle residential and some commercial activities, but the specialized RE/MAX COMMERCIAL offices work in the B2B sector only such as there are office, retail, industrial or residential construction projects.

RE/MAX LUXEMBOURG is active on the residential and commercial markets in Luxembourg and its greater area, spanning parts of Germany, France and Belgium.
