The Ramada brand began in 1954 when a group of investors opened the first Inn in Flagstaff, AZ--the first in a series of "motor hotels." In 1959, the group adopted the name "Ramada," a Spanish word for "a shaded resting place," and sold its first franchise. Since then, the Ramada chain has grown to nearly 900 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Today Ramada is committed to providing excellent service, terrific value and a superior hotel experience. To celebrate the brand's 50th birthday Ramada is getting a makeover, including a new look and feel, centered around the theme "Relax in Style." However, even as we mark our silver anniversary we can't help but feel the best is yet to come!

Property Opening Assistance
Cendant offers start-to-finish property opening assistance, including punch lists, purchasing, signage, insurance, property management systems and brand standards.

Training
As a franchisee, you and your General Manager will receive GM Orientation and training at our central office. In addition, other classes are offered throughout the United States and Canada yearly. Customized training is also available at a fee.

Field Support (ARC)
Project ARC is designed to expand and enhance domestic field service delivery to our franchisees by increasing field-based support teams to provide dedicated, property-specific assistance.

Corporate Support (FSM)
Once your Cendant property has opened, you will be introduced to a coordinated, dedicated and property-focused service delivery team comprised of a Director of Business Development and Franchise Services Manager who will provide you with on-call assistance, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Quality Assurance
In order to provide your property with a competitive advantage, the Quality Assurance (QA) Department focuses on promoting everyday improvements through state-of-the art guest satisfaction measurement systems and on-property inspections.

Hotel Development, Design, and Construction Support
Skilled professionals will, assist you with anything from renovation concepts to landscape design in order to maximize presentation of the appearance of your property and meet brand standards.

Supplier Services
Save time and money on purchases for your hotel by taking advantage of Cendant Supplier Services Inc. (CSSI), which provides interior design services, state-of-the-art purchasing client service support, and flexible financing options.
