By bringing together the world’s "best of the best" computer people and the best technologies, we help our customers identify the road map to surviving this new digital world.

The origins of what is now RESCUECOM dates back to 1985, when the Internet was still in its infancy and floppy disks were the storage of choice for PCs. It was at this time that David A. Milman, future CEO of RESCUECOM, discovered a niche in providing immediate, on-site computer repair solutions for businesses and home users in upstate New York.

The company, then known as University Data Systems, offered a one-hour service model and was known to provide “The Fastest Response Anywhere.” After years of refining the company’s service offering and pioneering computer maintenance and repair best practices, Milman realized the best route to expansion – and to attracting only the best and most experienced technicians – was through franchising.

In 1997, the company was renamed RESCUECOM and sought opportunities to replicate the successful business model developed over the prior decade. The first RESCUECOM franchise opened in Rochester in 1999. An immediate success, the Rochester operation exceeded expectations and continues to be one of RESCUECOM’s leading franchises.

RESCUECOM is a Franchised IT Solutions Company providing On-Site Services, coast to coast, around the clock.
