The Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill franchise network was founded in 1994 by a group of partners who together formed the parent company, SP Franchising.

Starting with just one restaurant, a high quality product and a great concept, Samurai Sam’s has grown into a nationally recognized quick serve chain, with SP Franchising now supporting 52 locations nationwide.

In first quarter of 2003, Samurai Sam’s is planning to open over 10 new locations in cities including San Diego, Phoenix, Durango, New York and Seattle. While the Samurai Sam’s franchise network is growing at a quick pace, SP Franchising is prudent in their plans for expansion.

At SP Franchising, the belief is that the future of our franchise network is dependent upon the quality of our franchisees. Therefore, we carefully screen prospective franchisees and make sure they meet all the qualifications necessary for running a successful Samurai Sam’s Restaurant. By maintaining these guidelines, we are not only able to provide new franchisees with one on one guidance, but it also allows us sustain a superior level of quality control.
