Sir Speedy offers customers the convenience of doing business anyway they want, in-person or via telephone, fax, e-mail or online. Using the Sir Speedy MyDocs® online ordering and Document Management System, customers have the ability to design, order and manage their documents anywhere, anytime. The Sir Speedy Global Digital Network, with its affiliates, spans nearly 1,000 centers in 26 countries.

Since Sir Speedy’s inception almost four decades ago, business has changed dramatically. In today’s shrinking, technologically advanced world, executives no longer wait for multipage reports to arrive via the U.S. Postal Service. World time zones—once barriers to business—are moot, thanks to the Internet.

Sir Speedy has done more than keep step with these advances. In fact, as the world’s largest printing, copying and digital networking franchisor, the company leads the industry in applying new technology to document creation and management. From the first black-and-white methods of document duplication to its Global Digital Network today, Sir Speedy has delivered new printing solutions to small and large businesses for almost 40 years.

By the early 1990s, Sir Speedy was developing products and services on the leading edge of printing technology, including electronic publishing, print-on-demand, document management and affordable full-color, short-run printing. In 1993, Sir Speedy began focusing its business internationally, opening centers in Central America, South America and Asia, and quietly built the largest and most sophisticated digital network in the world.

By 2003, Chile and China were added to the Sir Speedy network bringing the total number of locations to nearly 1000 worldwide. An aggressive expansion plan in China, with the potential to grow to 300 centers, will make Sir Speedy the dominant printing brand in the world’s largest emerging market.

While the company has had an online presence since 1994, Sir Speedy’s aggressive e-commerce evolution hit full stride in 2000, when sirspeedy.com launched the industry’s first online custom document catalogs. In 2001, the company expanded the document management capabilities of the site with three options: MyCatalog, for quick access to frequently ordered documents; MyPrintCenter for unique orders of existing documents; and MyDesignCenter for step-by-step creation of new documents. In 2004, Sir Speedy introduced the quick print industry’s first Web-hosted document management system, called “Sir Speedy MyDocs.” The proprietary online service, designed for small and mid-sized businesses, helps companies create, manage, order, distribute, print and archive documents.
