3 more die as violent protests over cartoons continue in Pakistan < Pakistan > February 16th, 2006 Gunfire and rioting erupted Wednesday as tens of thousands of people took to the streets in Pakistan's third straight day of violent protests over cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. Three people were killed, including an eight-year-old boy.
Protesters also burned a KFC restaurant, three movie theatres and the offices of the main cellphone company. A Norwegian cellphone company's offices were also ransacked.
