Bang & Olufsen AS said its medical technology unit Bang & Olufsen Medicom AS has entered into an agreement with AstraZeneca AB to develop a new patient monitor that measures a patient's compliance with prescribed drug dosages and time. Details of the agreement are confidential, it said. The companies will develop an electronic device that will be used in clinical studies to register if patients take their medication correctly.
