According to www.journalnow.com, the Triad is expected to get some Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops this year, with the naming of an area franchisee.
Martha and Paul Harrison will have an exclusive franchise for the Triad operating under the name Triad Treats. They have agreed to open a minimum of three stores.
Triad Treats is currently looking for locations in Winston-Salem, High Point and Greensboro, and expects to open its first store by the fall.
