The Carrefour group has announced the opening of its 50th hypermarket in China, in the Liao Ning province, at Shenyang (5.3 million inhabitants) in the north of the country. With floorspace of 9500 m², the shop employs 600 staff. Carrefour has been in the country since 1995.
