Comfort Keepers awarded the Quest for Excellence Award to Michael Jones, owner of the Sarasota and Manatee county franchises bearing the same name.
It is the second time Jones has received this award, which is based on hours of care for clients and revenue. Jones and his wife Charlotte Jones opened the Sarasota Comfort Keepers franchise more than five years ago, and also operate locations in Bradenton and Venice.
Comfort Keepers offers nonmedical services, such as companionship, grocery shopping and meal preparation, housekeeping and transportation. Jones is a certified senior adviser, and serves as a board member of the Sarasota County Aging Network. He is also a member of the Manatee County Aging Network and on the leadership council of the Alzheimers Association.
