Director of Business Development/Franchise Sales: Hot Stuff Foods, LLC < United States > February 22nd, 2006 Job Description
Develops a successful and productive sales region. Keeps the VP/Franchise Development informed of all sales contacts as well as personnel status regarding training, sales abilities, follow-up and overall territory status. Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as development leads, based upon information from trade periodicals, business directories, company activity, trade shows, as well as unsolicited sales calls and other sources. Travels throughout assigned region to call on exisitng as well as prospective customers to solicit new business in convenience stores and in entertainment venues. Displays or demonstrates product, using samples, catalog or computer programs. Emphasizes salable features. Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts. Confirms date of store opening to franchisee/licensee based on knowledge of the franchisee/licensee and Hot Stuff Foods schedule. Prepares reports of business transactions in prescribed manner by Hot Stuff Foods and keeps expense accounts Primary Responsibilities Develops a successful and productive sales region. Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as development leads. Manages sales process from initial solicitation of prospect to new site opening. Manages sales activities in respect to day-to-day operations. Job Qualifications Three to five years quick service restaurant development, sales to convenience stores or fran. dev. Must be assertive, high energy, independent and results oriented. Strong presentation and sales skills are essential. Motivated professional with proven sales record on closing deals. Requires multi-unit fast food franchise development experience.
