HISTORY

Duraclean began 75 years ago in Racine, Wisconsin, offering a carpet and upholstery cleaning business opportunity package. This was a part time business opportunity for individuals hoping to add to their income. In 1945, that biz-op offering gave way to the Duraclean Business Format Franchise System and was the foundation of today's growing opportunity.

Through the years, aggressive research and development have added; Water Damage Restoration, Smoke Damage Restoration, Ceiling and Wall Cleaning, Hard Surface Floor Cleaning, Ultrasonic Cleaning, Janitorial Services, Grout Cleaning and the latest, Mold Remediation to the original services of Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning.


START-UP

An extensive training program prepares the new Franchisee to begin their business in the recession proof services of Mold Remediation and Water Damage Restoration. It also includes Carpet and Upholstery cleaning for the commercial and residential markets

Duraclean has been at the forefront of solving cleaning and restoration problems since 1930. In 1998 Duraclean's R & D responded to the demand in the marketplace to clean up indoor air quality and remediate mold contamination in schools, commercial buildings and individual residences. Mold Remediation has become a major player in the overall revenue totals of several of our franchises.

Water Damage Restoration for the insurance industry is the second segment in the initial package of a Duraclean Franchise. Equipment plus the necessary cleaning and deodorizing solutions are included.

The third segment in the initial package is Carpet and Upholstery cleaning and is a stand alone service for residential and commercial markets. These services also support the Water Damage Restoration market. State of the art equipment and all necessary cleaning solutions are included in the initial package.

TRAINING

No experience is necessary to begin your Duraclean business. An extensive training program, conducted by industry professionals with a combined 150 plus years of practical business experience, is also part of the package. You will spend multiple days at the corporate office in the Chicago area in classroom and hands-on learning experiences. Your training will cover classroom and hands-on experiences in management, marketing and technical topics necessary to begin your Duraclean business. After the initial training is completed a detailed plan for on-going support will be set up.

In addition to the services included in the initial package, Duraclean franchises may also add one or more of the following: Ventilation Duct Cleaning, Smoke Damage Restoration, Janitorial Maintenance, Hard Surface Floor Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Pressure Washing or Ultra Sonic Cleaning. The additional services may be added at any time with no additional franchise fee.
