FIFA said yesterday it had obtained an injunction to stop a Burger King franchise in Israel from using images of the World Cup trophy and offering travel packages to the 2006 tournament as competition prizes. World soccer's governing body said it had obtained a prohibitive injunction from the Tel Aviv District Court forcing Burger King to stop using the images on a local Web site. The court also awarded costs to FIFA. The court declared illegal Burger King's promotion giving away prizes such as travel packages incorporating 2006 World Cup match tickets.
