TeaGschwendner Set to Open First N.Y. Location in Historic U.S. Landmark.

Buffalo Grove, Ill. – (May 20, 2010) Germany’s largest and most popular tea retailer, TeaGschwendner, has chosen New York City’s Rockefeller Center as the site to unveil its U.S. flagship corporate store and continue to heat up the tea craze that’s sweeping America.

Boasting 140-plus overseas tea retail shops and three decades of success, TeaGschwendner is cornering the billion dollar U.S. tea market with its warm, European allure and sophisticated franchise design. The 367 square-foot location will be outfitted with an iridescent black and gold color scheme, housing more than 300 varieties of ordinary and exotic loose leaf teas that will line the shop’s walls in decorative tins designed to maintain the tea’s freshness.
