Joe and Diane Bastian, co-owners of Panera Bread, announced today that the company has been awarded four regional awards, reinforcing its commitment to excellent customer service and product innovation. The 13-store franchise group, Breadwinners at the Triangle, was honored as one of the area’s Best Places to Work and as a 2006 Fast 50 winner, both from the Triangle Business Journal. They also received two first-place Family Favorite awards, which recognized Panera Bread for offering the Best Kids’ Menu and Best Healthy Food in the area. The Family Favorite awards were unveiled in November 2006 by Carolina Parent magazine.
