International Dairy Queen of Minneapolis announced that effective June 1st, MBT Marketing Communications, Inc. of Portland, Oregon was retained to manage media placement and special promotions for 250 owner-operated stores throughout Oregon, Washington, Utah and Idaho.
International Dairy Queen and its regional restaurant owners association awarded the account to MBT after a limited agency review to replace their previous Seattle-based agency. The Dairy Queen account is one of the largest accounts to be secured by a Portland advertising and promotion firm in 2006.
