According to UDSG (Pink Sheets: UDSG), the company has completed beta testing of a delivery operation system.

The system will be launched at up to 75 SUBWAY locations throughout South West Florida as SUBWAY ramps up to initiate a delivery operation to compete with the likes of Quiznos, McDonalds (NYSE: MCD) , Kentucky Fried Chicken, Taco Bell and even Wendy’s (NYSE: WEN).

SUBWAY has been losing market share since Quiznos started to expand rapidly, and this new offering is an attempt to make it more convenient for consumers, which could translate into increased sales.

The number that has been approved is 1-888-SUB-TO-GO, it is the “National One Number” delivery hotline. Once they determine that this is successful they may launch this on a national level.
