Sandwich bar franchise continues Scottish expansion < United Kingdom > June 22nd, 2008 Hand cut sandwich and gourmet coffee chain O’ Briens continues its Scottish expansion with the opening of its 43rd outlet in Scotland, situated in the Winter Garden at Silverburn, Scotland’s largest shopping centre, Glasgow. The 84-seat mall café is the first of three to open before the end of May. The other two cafes will be based in Kilmarnock and Gretna.
John Irvin the Master Franchisee for Scotland says: "O'Briens is delighted to secure this striking location within Silverburn for its latest outlet. It is a comfortable, attractive environment where customers can sit, relax and take a break from their shopping. "As this is a busy spot, the express-style cafÉ provides customers not only with a greater choice but also quicker turn around on their orders. This includes an extended hot offer such as pastries and quiches, as well as iced drinks and milk shakes with the summer coming up." The new outlet features an extended menu offering a selection of healthier and seasonal choices from shamrock shaped foccacios, wholemeal ShambosTM to tossed salads, smoothies and juices. http://www.thefranchisemagazine.net/franchise/ ... |
