The developer of a new Hampton Inn & Suites at the Quad City International Airport may have to start from scratch because of extensive damage from Sunday night's storm.

“It's pretty much on the ground," Moline developer Todd Raufeisen said Monday said of the wood-frame structure that was to become a $7 million, 95-room hotel. Rockford Construction of Grand Rapids, Mich., had been working almost three months on construction.
