John Stubbings, owner and broker of RE/MAX Ocean Realty, recently received the Humanitarian Award at the Regional RE/MAX Awards Celebration in Charlotte.

"The award was given with our sincere appreciation for Mr. Stubbings' commitment to helping others. His generous contributions have made a difference to those in need and we are extremely proud to have him on the RE/MAX team," said Geoff Hill, regional director of RE/MAX of the Carolinas.

This is the first year the RE/MAX regional office has given the award; Stubbings is the first recipient. In 2003, Stubbings was the first to receive the Premier Community Citizenship Award.
